About Us
History
First Stop began in 2012 as an idea of wanting to provide Park County citizens with resources needed to succeed in life. The program comes from the Heart Mountain Free Clinic, a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization that focuses on providing health care to those who are uninsured and 200% below the poverty line. The Park County Poverty Alleviation Coalition has also been an integral organization to the First Stop Park County Help Center formation. The program has been up and running for three years and has assisted over 500 Park County citizens with housing, food, utilities, transportation, clothing, etc.
